        Yes. Tube is 1/2" inner diameter. Threaded fitting fits standard 1/2" female fittings.

        Yes. The ID is 1/2". The tube on mine cracked a little over the o-rings before I had a chance to get the tube warm. A hose clamp sealed it up.

        Does this have a temperature rating of 220 Deg F for installing on a keg kettle? Also I see the replacement glass (Item #MT520A) is more than the base item? What is the difference between the two items (#MT521 and #MT520A)?

        Absolutely this item is designed to be used on a boil kettle. The difference between #MT521 and #MT520A is that one comes assembled with the smaller parts needed and the other comes with just the replacement tube that costs more without the package deal.

        As far as temp I have it on my boiling kettle and it’s fine. The part numbers and differences I can’t help with.
