For the price this product should come with the 29mm bell. Instead you must buy it directly from Anvil, who sells it, but doesn't list it on their website, and charges $8 bucks for it, plus another $$8 to ship it separately. So if you want this capper, so you can crimp 29mm caps, expect to pay closer to $100 for it because the capper doesn't qualify for free shipping either. At $100, its cost:quality is just average. And it's packaged horribly. Please consider including an option to purchase the 29mm bell at the same time as the original purchase

I have not had a chance to use it yet but I really like that the piston that holds the bottle cap cripper is made of metal instead of plastic. Last one broke after about 500 bottles or less.

I had been using a hand held capper for years. The hand held device was frustrating to the point where I considered giving up brewing beer. I just used the anvil bench capper. I was able to cap 50 bottles in under 15 minutes without any frustration. It worked very smoothly.

Don’t wast your money on a two handled plastic capper .spend a few extra bucks and get a quality bench capper .I started with a cheap capper and broke 8 bottles in a row before finding out that it wasn’t compatible with some bottles what a drag on bottle day!

Simple to use. Easy to adjust for bottle heights. Would recommend to all brewers.

I tried several others before this. This one just works well.

Very sturdy and the large base makes capping easy. The base could be a bit heavier but it does the job. The magnet in the capping bell is a great feature for preloading the cap rather than balancing it on the bottle top.

If you’re still bottling (like me), this thing is an absolute game changer! Capped 35 bottles in under 5 minutes with this thing! It also stores flat and can be hung on the wall to minimize the space it takes up.
