    Description

    Outfit any 3" diameter draft tower with these stainless steel Intertap Tower Shanks with Duotight compatible tailpiece. The 1/4" barb pairs perfectly with the Duotight 6.35 mm x 8 mm reducer (DUO100), allowing you to quickly and easily connect 8 mm OD EVABarrier draft line (D1717 & D1718).

    The Duotight fitting is sold separately and can be found below under "You Might Also Need".

    Please note these shanks are not compatible with Perlick flow control faucets.

        Works well in my two faucet tower

        Nice shank for the price. The faucet ring feels like chrome plated plastic but I didn't have any issues when mounting my Nukatap so I'm happy. Does the job I'm my two faucet tower.

        A Quality Product

        This product is stainless steel t. It is so much better than the cheap brass "Pera" brand shank that came with that faucet. It works great with my new Nukatap faucet. I look forward to using it with duotight fittings in the future.

        I was able to install 2 of these 90 degrees apart at the same height on a 2.5" draft tower with duotight fittings and EVABarrier tubing. I'm considering purchasing another and drilling a third hole 45 degrees between and slightly below the first two and putting a third faucet on as I can fit 3x 5 gallon kegs in my kegerator.

        Was having problems feeding 8 MM OD EVABarrier draft line onto barbed Intertap standard barbed shank. This solved the problem and was super easy to install!

        Is the entire shank and fitting stainless inside and out? I currently have standard chrome shanks that look rusted and corroded on the inside when I removed the faucet. I would like to have all stainless to go with my stainless faucets.

        I have an EdgeStar KC1000S kegerator with a 2.5" diameter tower Does the tower hole in that brand/model kegerator need to be enlarged for this shank?

        Does this work with standard beer line or do you have to use duo tight fittings?

        This shank is meant to work with Duotight fittings. You can try this with standard tubing with a hose clamp tightly securing the tube though without the regular ridges of the barb it may be easy for the tubing to slip off or leak.
