These filters always seem like they are 1/8" inch too long. Very difficult to screw the lid on all the way. Shouldn't have to use a filter wrench to tighten the lid. Anyone else have this problem?

Well made but filter did not clear out haze. One week later I’ve got sediment in the bottom of the bottle, see attached pic. My procedure was to siphon finished cider to sanitized Cornelius keg. Pressure transfer from keg through filter to clean keg and bottle from the clean keg. 1 micron filter was supposed to take out the any haze and remaining yeast. Filtered cider is still cloudy and is settling out in the bottles.

Used this to filter 1 bbl of hard seltzer, comes out crystal clear. Would def buy again.

After filtering last year with a 3 micron, I’m going to switch to a 1 micron from now on. I tried this after filtering with a 3 micron amd some haze remained. The wine is brilliantly clear with a 1 micron filter amd it did not clog or slow down filtering approximately 52 gallons of slightly hazy wine. These shipped quickly and worked very well.

Filters arrived in a timely fashion and did just what they were supposed to. Will order from them again soon.

Filtered a 1/2 bbl of beer and a 1/2 bbl of hard seltzer with this and both came out very clear. Would highly recommend for quick easy filtering.

It worked well. Just chill the beer first, I put a couple PSI of co2 on the keg just to keep o2 out while crashing, then increased it as needed to transfer with no foam.

Depending on who you believe, 1 micron nominal will remove somewhere around 80 - 95% of the yeast and a host of other crud, giving a nice clear beer. People say you should use a 3 micron filter first. I don't bother with that since I don't have much gunk in my brews - never had clogging problems.

Super clear ability! As others noted you might want to cold crash or filter using larger micron prior to running through this filter.

This filter works as advertised, but I buy mine in bulk to save some money. If you just need one in a pinch this will do the trick.

I use this filter to filter my hoppy beers, as it won't strip all of those great hop aroma and flavers out of the beer.

Works great, just like the whole filter kit. At first I had been looking for a 0.5 micron filter but decided on the 1 micron offered by MoreBeer. Great choice, as this filtered out all of the yeast particles and bits of hop, plus the chill haze. No need to filter at a more fine level. Glad I purchased a few extras!
