Just made the beer. Used WLP002 English Ale yeast. Will likely keep this on my rotation of beers to brew as a daily drinker. Strong recommendation, especially for a beginner, its likely to come out well.

I made this kit twice this year, once with s-04 and and once with wlp002. The wlp002 batch is the best beer I've made. Super clean and refreshing. I'll be making this again next summer.

After jumping in with both feet and getting some decent equipment, this was the third kit I brewed. Wow, I'm shocked at how good this one came out. ea Very smooth, grt flavor, misleading name because it really isn't very bitter, it's actually the most mild brew I've made to date.My only issue is that even though I mixed the priming sugar per instructions and put it in the bottling bucket first (then ran the beer from the fermenter into the bucket and gently stiring it again before bottling it, my bottles appear almost to be under carbed. The beer won't hold a head for very long at all but is carbonated, kind of like it was sitting out in the glass for 15-20 minutes. Don't get me wrong, this is my favorite so far and I just ordered another kit to brew it again to see if I just did something wrong the first time!Very drinkable! Everyone that's tried it has loved it!

this was a brew that I made after making several mistakes with several other batches. This batch being the 11th kit I've ever made, I wanted to give it my best shot at making a really good beer. Success at a very delicious Malty and not too bitter beer was this kit.I will DEFINITELY make this again.

After finally getting to open a few bottles of this ale, I was greeted with a color that's spot on for the style. The malty sweetness & touch of roasty/toastiness of the malts against the EKG is wonderful! Very nice balance & a very drinkable beer. This one surprised me for an E/SG kit, as I'm a PB/PM BIAB brewer at this point. I crushed the grains right before use & that OG you listed went up to 1.060 with dunk sparge. This one is going into rotation. May even convert it to partial mash!

I will buy this one again.

Bought this kit for my son who wanted to start home brewing. It is an easy drinking brew that we both really liked. I will buy this kit in the future.

It was my first and second kit (and I've only done 2 so far), both times it came out the same flavor. It was very statisfying. The 2nd time I used another lb of extract malt and achieved slightly higher alcohol content. I enjoyed it very much. I would give it a grade 'B'. I'm still looking to match the a real ale I had in England back 13 years ago. I will be brewing a recipe I found on the internet with a Wyeast Yeast that More Beer does not sell right no (1496) and will probably compare my results to this.

I just poured my first pint of this ESB and it is the best beer that I've made to date. It is delicious. Buy it and see.
