Can this kit be used with a sodastream co2 tank?
MoreBeer!
I have mine connected to a sodastreamCo2 bottle. You have to buy a different regulator. I bought this KEG967Probably cheaper to just spring for a 10lb Co2 bottle

How can these 2x1Gallon kegs be hooked up together to force carbonate at the same time; what extra parts be necessary?

Can these be connected to a larger (5#) co2 tank ?
Customer
I have successfully hooked my 1 gallon and 2 gallon Oxebars up to the 5# co2 tanks; follow the kegging sheet that comes with the kit, carbonation and serving are working great!
Bryan Kowalske
Yes, with the Duotight Mini CO2 Regulator | CGA320 Adapter for CO2 Tanks.

I successfully hooked up the 2(1 gallon) one at a time, putting them in a mini fridge. Kept the pressure at 20 psi to carbonate and the temperature about 35F to 40 F. After about 4 days had enough carbonation to serve up, reducing the pressure to about 10-15psi.

I'm wondering the same thing...

Does the 2x1Gallon arrangement have 2 regulators to keep each keg pressurized or are they both connected to the same regulator/CO2?

After fermentation in the Fermonster, I want to transfer and keg into the Oxebar. What are some important steps regarding the CO2 pressure for carbonation and serving? How soon should carbonation take place?
MoreBeer!
To force carbonate set the regulator to about 20 psi. Shaking the keg now and then will make it carbonate faster. My one gallon keg took about two days and half a 16g CO2 cartridge to carbonate. I used 5 psi to dispense.

For the one gallon keg, I set the regulator to about 20 psi. Shaking the pressurized keg now and then will make it carbonate faster. My beer was producing a good head after two days. I was using the 16g CO2 cartridges and about half a cartridge was used up to force carbonate one gallon. I set the pressure to between 5 and 10 psi to dispense.
