The thermometer is great. The clip could be improved - it's a little flimsy, and I had to spend some time trying to bend it into a more precise and useful position. When clipped to the edge of a large pot, it has a tendency to tip forward or backward. Maybe this is related to the pot I'm using, or maybe there's some trick I'm overlooking. But it certainly works for what I need it to do.

This long thermometer was needed to be able to check the center of a brew in a new Brewzilla 3.1.1. This length is perfect for the tall tank! I found it accurate right out of the box. Highly recommended.

A very good product, displays temperature accurately. I wanted a longer temperature probe to put threw the top of my ten gallon cooler mash tun, I had a small grain bill of 12 lbs, it didn't reach the mash for an accurate measurement but on a larger grain bill I think this product will work perfectly. Also can be used on the boil kettle to give a good temperature of the top of the boil to help with knock out times and hop additions at various times of knock out.

This is a very good thermometer. I use through a small hole drilled in the lid of my mash tun cooler. Reaches the grain bed and is very stable in its readings without the annoying jumpiness of the digital one I formerly used. Accuracy checks out against two other themometers. Very happy with it.

Super accurate, easy to read and is much quicker than most thermometers I've used. I use this for my mash and HLT and have produced many delicious batches.

Like others, I have found this product to be ineffective - inaccurate and hard to use. A straight-forward glass thermometer is the ticket if your brew kettle isn't rigged with a thermometer.

I've been using this thermometer for about 4 years now and it is great! Itseasy to calibrate and very useful for all grain brewing. if you dont own a mobile thermometer yet this is the one to get. Very accurate, easy to read, and having the long probe helps avoiding fingers in hot mash. I use this to calibrate all my other kettle.thermometers. Couldnt brew with out it!

This is a great low cost thermometer for beginners. Once you upgrade it has other uses. I use this to put through a hole I drilled in my fermentation chamber to give an easily accessible temp reading (if not perfectly accurate)

The long probe reaches down into my brew kettle so that I can predict when to expect a boil. It also works great for measuring the temp of mash. After reading some of the reviews here, I am going to try to calibrate it, though it has never been a concern until now and I have enjoyed it very much. Worth the money in my opinion.

I've been using this in my Coleman cooler MLT. It's tall enough that I was able to drill through the lid and this fits down to the bottom. Good for measuring mash temps. Haven't seen any accuracy issues as reported by others.... or I simply haven't noticed.

This has worked very well for me so far. it clips onto the side of your brew kettle really well. The dial is very easy to read and it seems to get to temperature fairly quickly. I live at altitude and so the temperature shown for boiling is about 2 degrees low but this is to be expected. No problems so far.

I found this thermometer to be a good value. The reaction of the needle is quick and accurate. I did not use it for mashing but rather attached inside my brew kettle to monitor wort temp.

I use this to put through a hole I drilled in the top of my cooler mash tun. Takes a couple minutes to hit the mark, but super repeatable.
