My last spider wouldn't fit in the center of my new immersion chiller when I needed to put it in the kettle. This fits in the middle perfectly! The tapered design really helps with this.

Really helps keep my beer a lot cleaner. Grains and hops all go in here. Hangs nicely on my digiboil. Worth every penny.

Works great-got great hop utilization although the longish tab barely kept the top of the strainer above the wort level. Also fits inside the chiller so that was a plus.

I have had one a few years. Always has worked really well- I stir it quite often to make sure hops distribute into wort. Finally the seam started to fray, but I liked how it worked so much bought another.

This worked perfectly. And it fit very nicely on my modified keg boil kettle. My wort was super clear after the boil. And the spider was super easy to clean!

Used it for the first time today. Works great…when you remember to put it in before adding hops ????? I’ve read people have trouble cleaning it but I didn’t have any issue with using the sprayer on my kitchen sink. Glad I bought it as I added 7 oz of hops to my anvil and that would have most definitely clogged my pump. I think some hop particles still get through but not too bad.

It works great and cleanup is easier than easy.

Very good quality construction and nice mesh size. Only one issue. This particular one is too tall for my 7 gallon pot and it doesn’t rest on the pot lip as it should and falls over.

Fits perfectly for my 15g kettle and holds all of the hops I could ever want. Easy to clean, good hop exposure to the wort. I should have bought this years ago.

Keeps hops from clogging my bazooka screen and now my Brewzilla unit. I noticed no loss in hop utilization. Cleaning is easy as dumping the hops into the garbage disposal and rinsing clean.

Works ok needs to drop down a bit farther though for my anvil 10.5 but you can rig something up to accomplish this.

It is well built and plenty large for up to 10 ounces of hops, but it tends to get clogged if you dont have a vigorous boil. I have tried to use it with the 110v digiboil and have not had much luck. Perhaps if the mesh wasn't so fine. I switched back to bags to keep the hops contained. Pretty bummed considering the price.

The hop spider does a great job of keeping hop matter from getting everywhere and makes it really easy for multiple additions but as echoed in numerous other reviews, the mesh gets clogged very easily and quite honestly I'm not sure if it's really that much easier to clean than the bags.

This is a perfect size for the Anvil Foundry 10.5. It cut down a considerable amount of trub after the boil.

Was just what I needed in my Anvil 10.5 to be able to get the hop additions below the wort line.

Love the idea of a hop spider that hangs from edge of boil kettle. Wish it were a bit longer as it only partially submerges in a 20 gallon kettle depending on batch size

Fits perfect in my 15 gallon blichman kettle. You do need a deep kettle for this item to fit properly. No more hop bags for me!
