        Very lid-y lid

        It's a lid. I like that when you peel away the plastic strip it leaves 4 tabs that release the lid. It makes removing the lid easy. You have to drill it yourself and install a grommet to use an airlock.

        Fits the 2 gallon bucket.

        Great for fitting the 2 gallon bucket. Comes with unnecessary tamper seal. Probably originally meant for uses which require this, but results in assembly required for any application where you want to remove the lid from the bucket.4/5 stars for the unnecessary extra parts.

        Afordable Lid

        I purchased due to it being on sale. They only have 4 contact points. I wouldn't use for fermenting beer. I only use for secondary or storage of grains or other items.

        Does the lid come with a gasket?

        I think it did but the gasket did not stay in there well. Sorry I can't remember exactly. I am using mine for ingredient storage and it does not have the gasket on there currently.

        There is a gasket under the rim. There is no hole or o ring for a water lock in the center of the lid. However I have never had problems using it to loosely cover a 2 gallon bucket during initial fermentation. Still no problems after removing it twice a day to punch down the fruit cap. So never saw the need to drill a hole for a water lock.

        The ones I bought did. It’s in a groove inside the lid and seals well.
