This was the first brew i did back in 2004 when i ordered my Bottling Kit Deluxe they called it back when i ordered it in Dec 2003.(my Christmas present for myself).was a good brew, actually came out at 5.023% alc.And i was looking at my original instructions from back then and match current one exactly as far as ingredients.GREAT JOB MOREBEER STICKING TO SAME RECIPES OVER 18 YEARS NOW. THINK ILL GO BACK AND REDO WHAT WAS MY FIRST BEER, MAYBE ILL TRY IT IN ALL GRAIN AS WELL

Still in mini-kegs so cannot yet add praise for final taste but it all seems fine so far

To me a "light Ale" is Bud Light. But this is my first home brew. It is slightly lighter in color than 805. It also has a sweetness to it that is a little too sweet for me personally. It does taste good though and is considered "delicious" by those whom have tasted it. I know they aren't just saying it to be nice as they go for round 3 and 4. it certainly has a lot of flavor for a light beer.

Made this for my father-in-law basic simple recipe turned out excellent.

I don't normally drink this type of beer but decided to make it for a party I was having with all of them being Bud Light drinkers. This beer went over very well with all of them. A nice light beer that is very easy to drink and actually has some flavor to it.

Haven't done an extract kit in awhile, but this turned out very good and my friends loved it. Told them it was my own recipe.

Added extra oz of Citra hops at 15 mins came out really good smooth drinking lite beer

I've made two batches of this kit and everyone that prefers a lighter brew has raved about it! I presently have a batch in the fermenter with1 oz additional Cascade hops. I will split that batch in half and will add Grapefruit zest in one for an even more intense cltris aroma. This beer will always occupy 1 of my 3 taps.

I've brewed 6 batches so far and this is not one I would normally have purchased but we were having a family get together and they are all Bud Light drinkers so I thought I would try this one to persuade them with something different. Only problem was I only had two weeks before the party so it spent one week in the fermentor and one week in the bottle which is the quickest I've ever done a batch from start to finish. I put a case in the refrigerator the morning of the party and when we opened the first one I was surprised to see it was very well carbonated already and everyone loved it. It is a very light, low alcohol beer with just a very slight citrus flavor. So slight in fact that it was even hard to notice it was there if you didn't really try to taste it. So overall it is a good replacement for those Bud Light drinkers who really don't like to have any flavor in their beer. This has some but just a hint but it is very drinkable.

This is the first time that I brew this recipe kit and I'm very satisfied with the results, not too biter and really nice aroma, just perfect. I most definitely would recommended.

I've only made this beer once and I added corn sugar. I'm sure it's a great beer with the kit by itself but I listened to the mike guy a few reviews back and added corn sugar to get more bang for my buck. I made a 10gal batch and added 3lbs of corn sugar and it turned out great. It's especially good if you have girls or guys that don't really like the darker beers and are weening them off coors or bud lol. Try it for the price you might like it :-)

Very very surprised by this kit. Far exceeded my expectation on it. I was planning on a watered down light ale, and instead was met with a very drinkable, flavorful beer. This will be a staple now on tap!

I let it sit in primary for a week then transferred to secondary for a month or better, then put in a keg. I'm amazed by how great this beer is!! Next order I will be buying 3 of this kit to keep on tap at all times!

I ordered 3 kits of this beer. It's a very nice beer on it's own but with a little added corn sugar you can make this beer high octane but with good flavor...I added 2 lbs of corn sugar to bring it up to 7 something abv and the guys loved it............ I will order this again and again and again..

This beer is easy to make, takes little time, and beats the hell out of mass_produced light beers. The taste is rich with flavor and the alcohol is there to kick your ass. I'm ordering more of this. I ordered 3 kits to get the free shipping, glad I did..........

i used it as a base for experimentation. adding some basil and honey made it a dry and refreshing beverage. a good choice.

This is the only beer that I brew that my wife actually enjoys drinking. I have to admit that it's a great beer during HOT summer days. Very refreshing and still has a ton more flavor than BMC beers!

I added oats and lactose during the boil that gave the head a creamy texture and the beer an "oath" flavor w a crap clean finish. It was a great hot day summer beer.

My wife wasn't much of a beer drinker then she tried this light Ale, she loved it, now she's trying more varieties allowing us the enjoy more beer styles together and me to brew more, plus it's a great summer light for all to enjoy.

I am not one who is a big fan of light beer but with that being said my wife says this is one of her favorite beers tha I have made for her.
