This mesh bag is a lifesaver for my sanity. I have used fresh fruit for my mead in the past and had a headache trying to siphon the must to secondary. This makes it easy. Just lift it out. Thank you!
Works good with the 5 gal igloo cooler. Don't need the draw string.

I’ve used 5 gallon paint strainer bags with a hop spider in the past but had clogging issues with post boil hop additions. I typically cycle wort through my plate chiller back into the boil kettle with the return hose in the the hop spider. This allows me to reduce trub and hops going into the plate chiller while lowering the wort temperature. Once I hit the target temperature and add hops for the stand I continue cycling the wort to maximize hop flavors. This is where the paint strainer bags would clog. This mesh bag did not clog and kept trub and hop material from clogging the plate chiller. Seems like it has the right combination of volume and mesh size.

This is an ideal size for a 5-6 gallon bucket if you don't want to use a basket wine press. .

I use these bags in a 5 gallon pot and they fit perfectly. Work great as a second filter for the mash and for easy clean up. These bags also last a long time and can be used over and over. Last bag was used for about 20 batches before getting a wear hole in it.

good fabric cleans back to white quite well. after about 2 hours of usage I see 2 places where the seams have opened up about an inch. I use these inside a basket press to keep seeds and bits of grape skin from the getting into the wine during press.

These nylon mesh bags work great for straining our fresh pressed juices. They are durable and easily cleaned after use.

I use the BIAB for all grain because it's quicker cheaper and quite frankly I get high efficiency (over 85%) that appears better than what I'm seeing other report from using the Igloo coolers. I squeeze and crush the bag after lautering with 170F water multiple times to maximize malt collection and this bag stands up to the abuse.

Solid bag for boiling in a bag brews. Pretty much all I do and this is a great piece of equipment. Wouldn't brew without it.

I ordered this bag, but it did not ship with my order. I asked more beer to put one on my account for the next batch of beer that I bought. I bought a bag at a local beer store at three times the price and used it for my brew. In the mean time, more beer shipped me the missing bag free of charge. I am very pleased with the customer service from more beer.I brew in an eight gallon kettle I bought from more beer several years ago. I have installed a thermometer in the side of the kettle so I was concerned about the bag getting caught on the thermometer probe which goes in about two inches. So I purchased a colander for cooking crab and lobster that measures 13 inches tall by 11 inches around. It fits in the kettle with room to spare, keeps the bag off the bottom of the kettle and when I want the bag out, I lift the colander, put a grate on the top of the kettle to rest the colander and pour warm water over the grains to sparge.

This is a great bag, have used many times and is still going! I have a 7.5 gallon kettle and fits with plenty of room. Would fit a bigger kettle too.Highly recommend.
