        Unclear if it was enough

I had a OG of 1.070. The package said it can be "up to" that. So, I used 1 packet that had been sitting out for 6 hours to room temp. Wasn't enough to get my beer up to it's FG that would make it an 8% ABV.Also, confusing is the other text about "11% ABV." So, I just went off of the OG number.

How long will the yeast last in the fridge?

        MoreBeer!

I had one in the fridge for over a month and it was fine.

        MoreBeer!

Well assuming that it is fresh a fair amount of time. I've had it in the refrigerator for more than three weeks with no problem. Unlike Wyeast this does not have an inner packet that you have to break open. On the other hand if it is swollen when you get it then you would need to use it fairly quickly.
