I never knew how much oxygen I had put into my wort or starters - probably too much. This unit is easy to set up easy to use and introduces an accurate amount of oxygen - all at a reasonable price.

Love being able to control my flow with the disposable O2 tanks. Thanks to Ken for the pic as I wasn't sure I would be able to get the EVABarrier Double Wall Draft Tubing on the wand/regulator barb but sure enough, fit like a glove. Next up is some velcro to hold it to the bottle.

I've been oxygenating for years with the "low boil" technique, and it works great, but this is a nice tool if you'd like the certainty that you're oxygenating appropriately, while not throwing away your O2 with too high of a rate. This is a late-game purchase to be sure, but it's a nice touch, and may just make a noticeable difference in, say, a high-gravity and/or low-pH wort, where the yeast need every advantage they can get

Works great.... using Just Enough O2 for your beerInstead of a WHOLE can of O2....Over Oxygenating can be hazardous to your yeast as well ~!

This meter seems to work well, the actually regulator knob seems a little flimsy, but the rest of the unit is well made. I think this meter will help save money in the long run and provide more accurate quantification of o2 in the wort.
