        The bar-none best way to handle acids

        I still use a cheap pipette for pulling samples for my hydrometer since I perceive them as easier to clean and sanitize, but this syringe is by far my favorite way of dosing Phosphoric and Lactic acid for, particularly, mash pH adjustment. It's one of those fantastic, cheap little upgrades that is super worth the $5 or so for two

        Better than most

        The problem I have with most syringes is sticktion. If you’re not familiar with that word is it’s the opposite of smooth and slick. This one is better than most. Could be better. How hard it be to make a great syringe?!

        Does this fit in the 4oz lactic acid bottles sold by more beer? I have a 5 ml but it doesn't quite reach the bottom.

        No I just received a new one and they are even shorter than previously ordered. I'd say it only reaches down to the bottom third of a 4oz acid bottle which is the same size as a 4oz star-san bottle.

        How accurate is this really?

        We've found the accuracy to be within 0.1% ABW with repeatability exceeding the number of digits displayed. ABV is not temperature compensated. ABW is temperature compensated

        I usually come pretty close to my target mash ph using this syringe to dose phosphoric acid at my calculated amount.

        Will this syringe work with the EasyDens tester?

        No the center nozzle syringe is not a good match. The one that came with the easydens is offet and for good reason. With the center nozzle it blocks the outflow port of the easydens. (please fix this morebeer - please)
