A great Belgian Ale clone. Part of my brewing standards for an easy amber ale.

        Very good beer!

Brewed this for a friend who loves Fat Tire. He was very pleased. Very very similar taste to the commercial beer. Beer style dead on.

The one most people have gone back for

I had this and 4 others on tap for a party, and most people liked it the best. Great taste and very similar to fat tire.

great beer. added extra Victory malt and taste even better

Have brewed this kit several times. It always seemed to be lacking a bit. So last brew, I added a extra 1/2 lb of Victory malt for a total of 1 lb of victory. Mashed at 55 F for 1 hour. Followed the regular schedule. Fermented at 67 degrees. No secondary fermentation. Kegged and let sit for a week after force carbonating for 2 days. Beer came out great. Lots of malt flavor but not a sweet malty beer.

        Early review on Plump Tire

I did the all grain brew using the Grainfather brew system Fermented at 67 degrees for 15 days. I used SO-5 Dry Yeast and rehydrated it. I also as usual, oxygenated the wort. Took a sample while kegging and so far impressed. It tasted very good and that is without any carbonation yet. I usually can tell when I keg from the sample if the beer is a very good one. I only have two taps and this one will be my backup 3rd. keg when one of the other ones goes dry. I didn't detect any off flavors in the sample. With a few weeks in the keg I believe this will also be a winner. Thanks John W

        Awesome clone!!!

Easy to make recipe for a beginner to BIAB. We love Fat Tire, and the end result was an exact clone. A definite winner!

Great beer - wife loves it!

Just tasted this off the keg and it is the best red/amber ale I’ve done. I’ve done a few, since this is what I brew for the wife (she’s not into hoppy ipas like me)).I did BIAB and hit expected OG and FG. 2 weeks in fermenter with Saale-05 dry yeast at 69 degrees and kegged. It is smooth, slightly bready, malty, and a touch sweet. Bitterness is low, but lingers with the sweetness after a isp.I’m brewing this again and again. Great kit!

        Smooth and pleasing

I brewed 10 Gallons of this all-grain recipe. It's was kegged after 2 weeks of fermentation and has been carbonating for one week. At this point i have taste tested and am very pleased with the smooth taste and wonderful aroma! One more week of aging and it will clear up and i expect an exceptional beer. Good job on this kit!
