This kit really has a lot of what you should need to brew some beer - but mine had some equipment issues. So I felt I should write this for others to potentially keep in mind.First, the good: the kettle's nice and big, and it easily handled the volume of liquid required for "5 gallons" (6+ gallons, really). The fermenter is light, but did the job. It comes with sanitizer, which is a real plus - seems a lot of kits make you buy it. Most of the rest of the kit is just fine - mostly serviceable.The equipment I had issues with were: the bucket and siphon. The bucket should have been just fine, but the thing leaked so much. I lost a couple gallons of sanitizer to the floor - glad I had towels nearby! During bottling, even after I tightened the spigot a lot, I lost some beer to the counter and floor. Not great. The siphon - it just plain didn't fit on the spigot. It wouldn't grip any of the barbs. I couldn't fit any of the tubing to it, either. I had a real struggle to get my beer bottled - nearly all my bottles ended up like 60% filled. Nightmarish.So I would recommend the kit, overall - BUT I feel you should check for a leaky bucket first and make sure the siphon fits. If they don't, I'd shop for better versions of those two items. I know I'm in the market now!Happy brewing.

I haven't tasted the beer yet but everything I needed was supplied and the costumer service was great. The videos on the site and the instructions made it easy to get started. I'll be ordering my future supplies from MoreBeer.

Just arrived today and everything looks intact. Delivered by FedEx and box was a bit bent where clearly heavy items were on it. The bottom half is protected with an extra cardboard insert. My recommendation for packaging is to make it the whole box because the metal cover to the pot sits on top and will eventually be crushed. The sales rep. Was super polite and had answers to all my questions.

Only problem I have is the bottle capper, it doesn't hold the ridge well and slips badly, I don't know if it's a bad one or what! It's a real pain especially when it slips and the bottle ends up dumping beer everywhere….I would appreciate some help with this.

The Premium Kit is a great kit. Has just about everything you need. You have to buy bottles. I got the Haze Craze IPA kit. I bought a few other things to make things a bit easier. I got a 12" Thermometer that attaches to the side of the Kettle. Also got two FerMonster Strainers so I could more easily add the Hops during the Fermenting Stage which is required for the Haze Craze. The only reason I didn't give it Five Stars is that the packaging was terrible. Everything appeared to be loosely put into the big box and bounced around during shipping. Smaller items were just loose in the Kettle Bucket and Carboy. The Carboy had a big dent in it but it popped out and wasn't cracked. Fortunately nothing was broken. I would highly recommend breaking it into several boxes or adding some internal styrofoam forms.

Evertything arrived. It was well packaged. I really like everything. The brew kettle dors have a pinhole in the weld around the drain spout and leaks a bit. Disappointing but not deal breaker. Only Leaks about a drop every two minutes is all. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

yea, received the Premium Brew Kit. Box looked like it had been bounced around, taped and re taped and covered in dirt.All items were in the box, but it appeared that the wort chiller was a used return item and the bottling wand was missing the plunger and spring. Also lots of black polishing compound on the brewpot and lid. C'mon guys....I took a 5 year break from homebrewing due to moving to Az. I go back a long time with Morebeer and was hoping for maybe some decent quality control on items being shipped, as in the past.

What a great starter kit.. Has everything you need to do an all grain brew. I am brand new at brewing beer and utilized the online chat an 800 number for advice. The customer service staff, at least the ones I spoke to, we’re all experienced Brewers and guided me right through it. Honestly it was like having my own mentor on the phone. Again great kit and great for the beginner to build upon.

Ok. Here is the review of my kit. Everything was in great shape but the air lock and beaker. They were broken and unusable. To morebeer credit, it was replace quickly. I did not expect a replacement because stuff happens. But it was replaced. Everything in the kit was there even some Telekom tape! Had no problems with the first brew. Still waiting on the fermentation to finish and then bottling comes!

Perfect starter kit with EVERYTHING you need. First batch of beer is bottled and conditioning and I have a seltzer fermenting! Bought a few more fermentation buckets so I can kick up the heat and ferment 4 beers at once. Pretty pumped to be back into brewing.

So far everything is there. Barely started my first batch. Kettle was a little dirty with dried sand, more likely from the press form process. But everything I needed was in the kit. Had to refer to the online videos for proper install of spigots, as instructions for that wasn't included.

Everything you need to start making home brew beer with out any difficulty

My first kit arrived with the liquid malt extract (LME) punctured inside the box. EVERYTHING inside the box was coated with a thick gooey syrup. I sent the entire box back after having a short conversation with customer service. I received the replacement box about a week later fully intact and ready to go. Everything inside the box was present to start brewing. I recommend that the LME be better packaged to prevent puncturing. Meanwhile I have my first batch in the fermonster and will begin the bottling process in two more days. ....keeping my fingers crossed that this beer will be great! Fun so far!

Fast shipping, one small piece (airlock) was damaged during shipping. Sent them a message on FB and they quickly sent a replacement. My husband has his first batch fermenting now! He’s very pleased with the kit!

It has everything needed

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. So far he is really liking it.

Great starter kit. Brew day was smooth. I did have to use electric to boil, takes about 1.5 hours to get it to boil. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. You will use 3/4 of the starsan for sanitizing but it’s quite easy to use as well. For the price, I recommend this kit. It cannot be beat!

Absolutely love this kit. Everything you need to start brewing when it arrives within days!!! Very easy to upgrade to brew different styles. Extract to BIAB. Get this get spend the extra $$$ and just buy this one!

I received a home brew kit in remarkably fast timing. I was able to begin brewing right away. My brew day was stress free (thanks to charlie papazian...."relax have a home brew") and my first batch is bubbling away in the carboy as I type this. Everything arrived in the mail perfect except for a chipped graduated cylinder, which was no big deal, it still works. This has everything you need for the first batch. This is my first time brewing and everything went great, I had help from a friend (also had no brewing experience) and we were able to follow the directions no problem. Please note that this kit can only make Malt-Extract and not All Grain Brewing. You will need to buy All Grain Brewing equipment for that but overall I would recommend. The company seems very easy to work with.

This kit was a great and It comes with most of the items that we needed to get up and going with brewing beer. We have had the kit for less than a month and have already brewed two 5 gallon batches using the BIAB method. We would definitely recommend this kit!

If you're going to brew beer, you need to do your homework. This kit gives you most everything you need to brew your first batch, but it will be a learning experience. The directions are not real clear but once you do it a few times it will all make more sense. The first brew is a Pale Ale, a very hoppy beer. I would suggest waiting longer in the boil to add the hopps, but that's just me.

Still in the fermenting stage, every thing is going just like the stated in instructions, Just don't over think them, KISS.

This kit was exactly what I was looking for. It had everything I needed to get started in brewing. Even came with the easy to follow first brew kit. Turned out great and I am progressing to all grain brewing.
