I was intending to use this instead of keg lube but didn't realize it doesn't provide any residual coating that helps to seal. It may provide lubrication yet no tangible "gel" to provide assistance with sealing O-rings connectors etc. In any event it seems rather pricey - especially without the desired sealing characteristic.

I have used tis to lube sticky keg poppets that leaked , it sealed them! It is also helpful on threaded parts that seize from heat.

I highly recommend using this on all your keg O-rings and gaskets. Use to have little problems with leaks & reassembling kegs, but with the silicone everything goes together much easier seats better and no more pesky leaks.

If your having a hard time getting your corny kegs to seal and hold C02, try some Silicone Spray. It works great. Save you some trouble shooting if your corny kegs are older and used.
