Compact and easy to clean
This unit is nice because it uses a small sample size and it is easy to clean. My friend has an EasyDens and the measurements for OG are the same. To get an FG reading you have to use the software in the app. The software will calculate the FG. You can manually enter an OG also then select a Measurement for FG. Key is you have to use the software so it calculates. The calculation provided the same FG measurement as on the Easy Dens. This took me a little while to figure out.

While pricey it's worth it.
I watched all of the videos and the speed and accuracy of this device is mind blowing. The smartref opens a lot of doors from beer, to meed, to fruited beer, to checking your glycol concentration on your glycol chiller, or more... they have multiple apps depending on the use and still curious to try some of the other features. It takes about two seconds to give you a number and a temp. Heartily recommend this bad boy

I like this device, pretty accurate and easy to use and clean, the drawback is that it needs an app to give you a reading and it will try to charge you extra for "better" accuracy
