A bit awkward to put onto a corny keg. Works great with 3 Lowes buckets (PBW, H20, SaniClean) to clean and sanitize kegs and growlers. I like the flow through keg poppets to clean those.
this thing works great. Cleans my kegs very good and my poppets and connectors. Saves time I can do multiple kegs very fast. Simple to use and have clean kegs, very sturdy compared to others out there.

I absolutely hate cleaning kegs! No more taking off ball locks, taking them apart, removing gas/liquid tubes, and scrubbing the keg. I just let it go in the ABW for 20 minutes, rinse for 20 minutes, and then sani clean for another 20 minutes. I can telework and clean kegs at the same time!
This makes cleaning and sanitizing kegs a breeze. I've been cycling through batches more quickly now that I don't have the chore-barrier of keg disassembly and cleaning in the way.The only issue I've had is that the moving parts of the spray nozzle tend to work their way loose. I've twice pulled the keg out of the bucket and found the ball tip rolling around inside the keg. It's easy to screw back on, but get annoying.
I have had several other Keg washers, that were ok, but this one has made keg cleaning day super easy and saved me some money on cleaner and sanitizer. If you can afford it, do it.
does a good job of cycling cleaner/sanitizer through keg but sprayer falls off too frequently -requiring me to stop and screw back on to the unit

A 5-gallon plastic pail and some PBW. Damn so much easier and saves me so much time. I love this thing!

have only washed 3 kegs with it so far (all in the same day) and can tell this is going to cut down on the use of PBW as well as save a ton of time.only con that I have with it, is that its a bit pricey, think for the materials used it could be sold cheaper, but still I bought it and am glad I did

Just used mine for the third time. During use the spray ball unscrewed and fell off. I didn’t realize until after I filled my keg with beer that the ball was still in the keg. The SS Brewtech user group on Facebook shows this is happening to other people too. Any fix suggested?

I went back and forth considering whether or not this was worth the money before finally deciding to buy. After spending under an hour fully cleaning and sanitizing three kegs — one of which had been sitting with caked on sediment for several months — I can’t recommend it enough. It was such a time saver I was able wash the three kegs, keg two beers, build a space being valve and clean up two fermenters in about the same amount of time that it usually takes to clean one keg. Highly recommended.

I used to have that cheaply made (and ridiculously overpriced) plastic Mark II keg washer, which broke after 6 uses. I purchased the Ss Brewtech Keg WaSsher and it's a dream. It's easy to set up, operate, and has a sturdy design. It's worth the money.
Write youI hate washing kegs. It is a pain in the butt. When I saw this advertised I had to have one, and I got one of the first ones last month. It makes cleaning kegs so easy, I was doing other things while this washed the kegs for me. I love that it is sturdy. All the parts, except the pump, are thick stainless steel, and the thing feels like it will last forever. I do hope that the pump will be sold separately later, cause that seems like the only part that will age and fail. Perhaps the pump will last forever? If you're like me, where cleaning kegs is very much a chore, this is worth the money! Before this I had grown lazy and would just rinse out the kegs with water and then fill with Star San. Now that I have this, my kegs are cleaned with PBW, rinsed, and sanitized in minutes. I highly recommend it!r review here. It must be at least 20 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.
does this work with sanke kegs and 1bbl kegmenters?
Is the cip ball removable? It would be nice to use it to clean fermenters as well.
Yes its easy to unscrew.
Yes it is removable. 1/8" female pipe on the cip.
It is removable but then you will have to mess around with adapting it to the other water source. I estimate that it's a 0.25-inch fitting. MoreBeer cells other CIP balls with a variety of interfaces that will likely do a better job than moving this one back and forth. I have one with a triclamp fitting that fits my 14-gallon fermentor perfectly. They are both huge time savers as you can walk away and do something else during each cleaning cycle.
SS brewtech offer replacement for (blue silicone) metal post covers? They do eventually fall apart.
Will this keg washer work with the 10 gallon torpedo keg if placed in a larger diameter bucket?
Sure It's just a matter of the opening of the keg and the gas and the liquid pegs - and a big enough bucket(s). I personally use 3 buckets for Corny kegs. One with 5 Star; one for a rinse; one for sanitizer.
Yes we ran them with 15 gallon soda kegs we just ran a little longer.

Can the pump be removed and very hot water be run through the unit with a different pump like a March Chugger or riptide to clean and sanitize like micro breweries?
I'm guessing you're asking so you can do clean in place. This spray ball is entirely too small for that. You would be better off buying an appropriately sized spray ball ( 1/2" is semi standard in the home brewing scale) and having a ferrule welded on to your kettle lid. SS Brew Tech has a CIP spray ball for less than $50.
You can try but I find 120 F out of the tap works just fine to clean my kegs no matter how dirty w/ the built in pump
You can definitely remove the pump and could possible rig it up to any pump you would like. I have run this pump at 130+ without issue. I can say with great certainty that you dont want to run it at say 180+ Tried it killed it. Found an exact replacement pump much cheaper than what brewtech sells them for. My kegs are perfectly clean with hot water and PBW.
The pump can easily be removed. However you will need to figure out how to attach the tubing from the “new” external pump to the keg washer. Maybe some type of two-sided barb would work? I just use hot tap water with ABW and the keg is clean within 5 -10 minutes.
