After one week of ale primary fermentation I clean the yeast reservoir and replace one of the side black caps with this valve fitted with a hose barb to fill my secondary fermenter a week later. I use Cornelius kegs and this valve will fit nothing on them.

Not worth it. Just push CO2 into the floating dip tube as you open the lid and while it’s open. Dry hop close lid add the pressure you desire.

You can use the collection chamber for the fermzilla (part number FE120). With this you can add ball lock fittings that will allow you to purge the air out of the vessel before attaching it. It can fit a few ounces of hops. Over the course of a few days the yeast will settle in the collection chamber and the hops will float out so you can detach it and not worry about losing out on hop flavor or wasting beer.
