    Tailpieces are fittings which connect beer and gas tubing to the different parts of a draft system. One side of the tailpiece features a barb to connect the tubing to, and the other side is held against the tap or faucet shank with collar nut.
     
    Tailpieces are available in a range of barb sizes to fit up to your tubing size.
     
    304 stainless steel construction means these pieces won’t rust or harbor bacteria that can ruin the taste of your beer.

        Does this tailpiece fit into flare fittings for ball lock/pin lock disconnects?

        No the 3/8" tailpiece fits larger nuts that are usally used for keg coupler connections. It is flat on the bottom and needs a o-ring. The piece that fits in the 1/4" swivel nut will have the barbed fitting on one side and a angled flared edge that matches the angle on your pin/ball fittings. Flare fitting- 1/4 in. Barb part number KEG604 would fit that 1/4" flare nut.

        No the barb you will need for the flare fitting is KEG604 which has a 1/4'' barb or you can use KEG640 that has a 5/16'' barb and is already fixed with a swivel nut. Remember to use one of the flare fitting washers.
