If you're thinking about buying this go ahead and do it. Simple easy and effortless. I had no problem putting number nines and all my bottles with this. Try that with a lever or a hand corker; impossible. Please remember to adjust the depth of the plunger so that the cork is flush. My first one pushed the cork way too low and had to pull it out waste of one cork. Simple oversight. It comes shipped to you in two pieces flip it over. Take out the screw & washer put the legs on put the washer on insert and tighten the screw. Your set up is complete.

I like it very much and would recommend it to anybody that is bottling lots of wine. Also very easy to use and very solid and durable. It will probably last me for ever.

Perfect for bottling Belgian bottles. Works with 375ml bottles, too, with some padding at the base, like a rubber stopper.

Bought this because I was tired of using the double lever corker and I couldn't be happier. Super easy one handed operation let me zip through a case of wine bottles nearly as fast as I could switch them out. Buy one. You won't be sorry.

I would call it a floor corker myself as it still requires a nice bit of pressure easier applied from a standing to floor arrangement. But I love it! It is consistent and never damages the corks like my 2 hander did.

Very good for a floor corker. A little large for a table top Corker. My only concern are the plastic teeth that compress the court for insertion into the bottle. it will be interesting to see how they hold up over time.

This corker works slightly better than its older sibling I bought 14 years ago. The design must be tweaked slightly for the better. But neither of them are best used on a table top--although to be truthful I haven't even attempted it. It is obvious to me as better used as a floor standing device.

What is the size of the box that this comes shipped in? I see the dimensions listed but I'm assuming that these are for when the corker is assembled.

how does it work?
It works just like its floor model bigger brother. The bottle bottom goes on the round spring loaded disk. Press down and slip the bottle neck into the top part. Place a cork in the hole in the top. Pull the lever down. As the handle is pulled down the cork is squeezed smaller in diameter. The handle then pushes the cork into the bottle. The part that compresses the cork is made of plastic not metal like the bigger unit. This will work on a table or the floor. It is easier to store than the bigger floor only model. This unit can handle the bigger diameter corks used when storing wine beyond a year. The hand corker cannot do this.
It works great. I have been very pleased with it. It is called a table top corker but I use it as a floor corker.
Stick the cork into the top put the bottle on the bottom plate make sure it's in the groove under the cork mechanism and push down on the handle. There is an adjusting nut to get the proper insertion. Make shure your corks are dry and clean as it rusts Better if on the floor or a low platform.

Will this handle T corks?
This unit will not handle T corks. This is designed to squeeze the corks before inserting them into the bottles so it can be used only with standard corks that are compressed and inserted entirely into the bottles.

Is there a beer bottle capper attachment that works with this corker?
Not to my knowledge but then I've never actively searched for one..
Bottle cappers are totally different systems
