Nothing beats filling bottles with this thing. It's compact, reliable, extemely easy to clean and can fill the most carbonated saison without over-foaming. Beats the Blichmann in every way.

What is missing from the product description is that the unit requires a minimum of 12" from the bottom of the tap to get a bottle (even a 12 oz size) inserted under and up into the Tapcooler. The problem is that most kegerator towers are 12" high and the distance from the bottom of the tap to the top of the kegerator is only 9" -- that's 3+ inches too short. The only way I can use the Tapcooler is disconnect the keg, then use a tap wrench to loosen and turn the tap to a 45° angle, retighten the tap fitting, then reconnect the keg, and then finally I can fill a bottle. Not an ideal situation.

As others have pointed out, there is a learning curve to getting this to work as advertised. I found a use for the bar scale on my regulator's pressure gauge- .5 bar of pressure is perfect for filling. Having a kegerator with a tower, I needed to purchase the extension tube in order to fill bottles. Much better than using a piece of tubing to fill bottles and growlers, and getting nothing but foam!

Although I think this device will work well, if you have a kegerator you cannot fit it onto a bottle without the extender {$17.88) -- there just isn't enough room between the tap and the kegerator base to fit both the device and the bottle. So order both together or risk paying extra shipping.

At first it was a bit disappointing but after a bit of research and video watching I figured it out. Still working on the finesse of it but all in all a great addition to my setup. Instructions could be a tiny bit more detailed. Would like a fitting that worked with cheeper taps but the hookup for direct keg setup works well too. Definitely worth the price.

This thing is great. I used to use a faucet adapter and hose to fill bottles. This is compact and comes in its own storage case. Because it's a counter pressure filler, there is very little head, allowing for a controlled, full fill. Love it!

I love the device, I would rather be able to buy the replacement parts through you instead of your supplier.

I actually like this product, its compactness and ease of use, pretty slick, but have had one problem: the pressure relief valve on my unit leaks pressure most of the time. I can still use it by keeping a finger over the valve outlet, restricting the pressure manually, but you want that extra hand free sometimes; sometimes when you least expect to. I remove and sanitize the innards of the valve between infrequent uses, and have tried keg lube on the rubber, so it does occasionally and inexplicably hold the pressure, but on those occasions it tends to get temporarily stuck closed. I didn't get a helpful resolution from the company when I inquired.

Having moved to kegging long ago, it is nice to be able to bottle off your beer from your existing taps.

I think this tool is fantastic, but plan on a couple practice bottles to get started due to the foam. Once you get the rhythm down, you are home free. The small profile, quick use and easy cleaning are paramount. I would not go in any other direction for filling growlers or bottles at home.

This Tapcooler is by far the best and easiest way to fill bottles or growlers. It took me a couple tries to dial it in. I've used other counter pressure filters and this is the easiest

I haven't used any other counter-pressure fillers, but based on a few reviews, I elected to get this one specifically for a project to bottle a couple hundred beers. I did my first test bottlings last night and it worked great!I think the easiest way to set the pressure relief knob is by sealing an empty bottle on, triggering the gas purge, and turning the knob until gas just starts to leak through. Then you can open the tap handle and adjust the knob to go faster if needed.I would like to find out how to keep the small amount of foam on top of the liquid from spraying out the pressure relief valve when the bottle reaches full. And bottling is never a perfectly clean process, so I laid down a towel and put a bucket under the filler to catch the drips, which made clean up super easy.

Definitely recommend practicing with some star san or water in a keg before beer to get the hang of it. After some very simple troubleshooting with the PRV (took it apart and cleaned it) it works like a charm. The ball lock adapter is a must have.

We got the Tapcooler solely because of the canning station upgrade (well worth it - see my other review). Some reviewers have pigeon holed this CP filler as secondary or not good enough for long term bottle / can storage. They are wrong. It's small form factor is deceiving - it's just well engineered, not compromised & second tier. Paired with the keg adapter and the can upgrade, I have less waste, less foam, and c=more consistent fills than I ever had with CP fillers 3x more expensive. Whether you are a nano operation or a homebrewer, this s a surprisingly stellar piece of gear in spite of it's accessible price point and smaller form factor.

I used this bottle filler for the first time this past weekend to fill 2 bottles from my keezer. I thought I knew how to use it, but the liquid stopped filling and I kept adjusting the release valve on the side but it didn't help. I eventually got it to work by just pulling the bottle off the silicone stopper on the top to allow the pressure to escape. After watching multiple YouTube videos, it looks like the release valve on the side has to be unscrewed way more than I was trying. All that being said - I was able to fill 2 bottles pretty easily and quickly. I just wish there were instructions actually included or common issues people run into. I bought the ball lock adapter which I would recommend to easily connect your gas to the side. This will definitely be my go-to method of filling bottles from the keg. No more bottle conditioning!

This beats the heck out of a beer gun! It’s so much easier to use and (more importantly) clean up and store. There are a few caveats:1. There’s a small learning curve to this so plan to get sprayed in the face with beer the first time you use it. There’s a bunch of YouTube videos on how to use it. Watch them first. 2. This is the reason for the one star deduction. The silicone stopper is NOT compatible with growlers (it’s too small), and the shaft is just a little too narrow to fit in a drilled stopper. You’ll need to drill a hole in an undrilled stopper or wrap some electrical tape around the shaft of the bottle filler to get a tight seal. I reached out to tapcooler about this, and they said they’re working on this issue. Clean up is SUPER easy. There aren’t many parts, and it is really simple to disassemble.

This filler puts my beer gun to shame. 4 seconds to install! My only suggestion is to get the co2 ball lock adapter and the drain tube.

If you've been homebrewing for a while, chances are you keg most of your beer. And unless you're a real freak, chances are you don't bottle off the majority of each keg. If, then, you're like me, and keg your beer but would like to pull a bottle or three every once in a while for yourself and others, grab this thing.First of all, it works great. The seal isn't finnicky (you just have to hold with moderate pressure), and the bleed valve works. It's simple. With the ball lock connector, purging is also crazy simple - it's a single button press.Second, it's insanely easy to setup and clean. Since it's basically just a straw, you could get away with rinsing it with water before and after and be done. Setup is as easy as extending the dip tube, sanitizing it, and "plugging it in" to your draft system. Tear down is, again, as simple as removing and rinsing it. Boom.And since it's counterpressure, the quality is somewhat better than a Blichmann beer gun, and the ability to upgrade it to a can filler (!) makes it far and away the best bottle filler available today

I used to use a Beer Gun for filling bottles off my kegs but this has quickly been replaced by this device. I have Intertap faucets on my Keezer. This device simply inserts in to the tap. Supplying CO2 is easy and the operation is very simple. Push button bottle purge followed by opening the tap and watching your beer flow in nice and steady. Took a couple of bottles to get the pressure relief device set right but after that it was flawless. Beer loss is minimal.Only critique I have is the grommet for releasing the CO2 line so you can clean the device is small. It works but if you have fat fingers it will be challenging :-)Overall I am delighted with the simplicity and cleanliness of this device. No more beer guns for me.

Albeit I did not buy this product from here (this was before they sold it) I can say that I have absolutely no regrets and have been recommending it to everyone looking to counter pressure bottle fill. With this, I have 0 issues filling bottles with absolutely no foam (no reason to pre-chill the bottles either). However, with that said if you own one of the komos kegerators (I do) you will need to get the extension tube in order to fill the bottles properly
