I purchased this cocktail keg to share my homebrew with a friend that has a Sanke kegerator setup. I was able to easily transfer 2+ gallons of my already kegged and carbonated homebrew from my kegerator to this keg. I used ball lock adapters on my keg tap and on my Sanke coupler, along with a spunding valve on the cocktail keg gas inlet to control foaming. Of course I also had to temporarily remove the check valve from my Sanke coupler. Worked like a charm! It should also work well to just put part of the batch in this keg right after fermentation and carbonate in this keg using a balllock adapter on the Sanke coupler or one of the corny lids with a ball vale and carb stone. It's a little expensive for sharing beer, but I don't like to bottle beer, and it is really the best option I found to easily share half my 5 gallon batches with friends that have kegerators with a Sanke setup and that don't want to mess with their setup. And now I will be able to brew more often, which was my goal, so I am very happy with the purchase!

The way the handles are positioned. You can’t lock the tap on unless you take your hoses off. That needs to be rethought. I like the cocktail keg at it works great. But I had to take them to metal fabricator and cut some of the metal back from the handles so tap would turn into position
