I really wanted to like these. They’re well-built, look great, and as others have noted, they allow stacking of kegs due to their short profile. The gas disconnects are fine. However, the liquid disconnects have a fatal flaw. They’re darned near impossible to remove after having been on a keg for awhile. The locking ring becomes exceptionally hard to pull, I believe due to excessive amounts of beer escaping when attaching the disconnect to the keg. They are even hard to rotate on the post. I’ve tried using keg lube around part of the latching mechanism, but it hasn’t helped. Sadly, I’m going to have to get rid of these and try the Kegland disconnects instead. So, 5 stars for the gas disconnect and only 2 stars for the liquid.

I was getting ready to get rid of my Torpedo kegs because my standard ball lock fittings were extremely difficult to get on and off, for both the gas inlet and liquid outlet. I saw that you had Torpedo gas in and liquid out fittings and ordered a set. What a difference!!!! The fittings go on and off with ease. I haven’t read anywhere that the Torpedo ball lock fittings were different than standard, but obviously they are.

The O-ring inside occasionally slips down partially out of its groove. No visible sign of damage to the o-ring. Would gladly buy a replacement ring, but cannot see where to do so. I have bought 6 (3xIN and 3xOUT), only having issue with the one.

Bought this as part of a roll-your-own spunding valve assembly because I wanted something more certain and reliable than a plastic gas-out connector. Well satisfied with this.

This is a high quality disconnect. I like that it works with stacked kegs! Be sure to order/use the plastic washer or the flare fitting will leak.

I would have given the fitting five stars except the part needed to be deburred after machining. I ordered 5 gas in and fluid out fittings and all of them needed to have the burr removed on the flange you pull up on to remove the fitting. Easy enough to do with a small file or Dremel tool.

After struggling with the plastic ball locks, the metal, while 4 times the cost is still worth it. No struggles, snaps on, snaps off with ease, a dream to use and worth every $ spent.

I have been upgrading my tap system and have been switching over over to stainless from plastic. The plastic is a good start but once I tried my first stainless ball locks I knew this is the best. On and off easy and securely.

While the product description states they are clearly printed with IN and OUT markings they are not labeled at all.

More sturdy than the plastic. But they are not all the same size. Here's what I mean. Poorly toletanced. They are not all the same size.Mix and match these with your torpedo ball lock fittings until you get a matching pair. Serialize those and set them aside, and keep them together.The same goes for torpedo keg lids.

These are solid and seem to work better with my torpedo kegs than standard ball QD's. Mine arrived sans the stamping/labels pictured and called out in the description. I emailed support@ just as an FYI. They were stellar as usual, and responded within hours and are sending me replacements!

These work very well and are a nice upgrade from plastic connectors.

They are too heavily constructed. It’s a bit odd statement, but true none-the-less. There could be some more machining to get the weight down more. The product could also benefit from tumbling with a course substrate to make it less raw.

Should have purchased this to start with.

These are great and look awesome. Just remember to put a nylon seal on you connection.

After watching a YouTube review concerning the quality in manufacturing the plastic connectors I wanted to step up my system to Stainless Steel. Ordered two sets of these. Look great and felt solid. When I tried to put them in place on two kegs in my kegerator, one of the “In” side fittings wouldn’t seal (click into place). Tried it on another empty keg and it fit just fine. The trouble may well be my keg. Will see when the keg is empty.

Excellent product, but it will leak if you don't purchase the plastic flare washer. Nowhere in the description does it mention that you will need a flare washer. I didn't even think about that until I tried mine for the first time, it leaked. I sprayed my fittings with star san solution every time I replace a ball lock fitting, and sure enough it was leaking. Other than that, this seems to be a very well made product. I plan on replacing all of my keezer plastic ball locks with these.

I have used a variety of "flare" ball lock connectors, and I have been dissatisfied with all of them. Either they are too tall to be usable on a converted Sanke D keg tap that has been converted to ball lock (as the plastic ones are). Or, they don't effectively connect to the ball lock posts. These connect well. They are low profile. You can stack a 2.5 and a 1 gallon Torpedo. They are easy to connect - and are positive.So far, I am in heaven. It is winter (well, brewing season), so I am using these with Torpedo kegs. I typically don't buy store-bought beer until spring (when I can't keep up with demand, and it is difficult to brew efficiently). We will have to see if I still love them in June...

Fittings work great, and are low-profile enough to permit Torpedo kegs to stack while connected.Best price I've found on stainless couplers, and they're well-made.j
