Great beer. I use WLP001. Brewed this one three times already this year.

I ordered this version because Morebeer did not have the one with the grapefruit addition. Same ingredients. I obtained the grapefruit concentrate from a local brew store. Doubling the grapefruit to 1 oz instead of 1/2 oz made it even more refreshing. I used 2 packets of Safeale and 4 oz priming sugar for my 5 gal of wort. Highly recommend this. I am doing the same with Drake's IPA, but with 1/2 oz grapefruit for the test..I may go with 5 oz priming suger for that. Cheers!.

Holy smokes, this beer turned out so good my friends just about drank the whole batch leaving only a few for myself. Needed to make a double batch so I could hide a case or two away. Had to start another beer sooner than normal to make up for the speed at which this one got consumed

This is not a clone. The body is close but the hops are wrong. It should have dry hop Amarillo and few more C hops in the boil. Next time I would add the Columbus to the boil

Grain bills are hard to fill in my community with the Covid situation. MoreBeer came to the rescue with this terrific kit which fits the bill for summer satisfaction. The recipe is hop heavy, so be prepared with a hop bag, hop rocket, hop cone tube, etc.

My abv came out at 6.8 and this is a super hoppy beer. I loved everything about brewing this. Imagine having 5 gallons of a crisp hoppy full bodied ipa on draft!

This came out great. I missed the OG by a little but everything else came out great in the process. The final product tastes delicious. I added the secondary hopes in about 4-5 days before bottling. This you could adjust depending on how much hop you want in the taste. Mine has a good hop taste but not overwhelming. Will make again.

Warning: I've purchased this kit a few times, finally figured out it has too many bittering hops.. Ibu's 101. Went to the end of the style guide, & fell off. Remove 2oz of your choice, for me simcoe cinntinial. Still give this kit 5 stars..

With the large volume of base malt, you'll get an OG of over 1.070, unless your efficiency is quite low. You can actually get up to 8% ABV, putting it into the IIPA category (although the color is too light to technically meet that definition). And with all those hops additions, you'll get a very tasty beer!

My favorite IPA kit. Brewed 10 gal and always keep this on tap.

Wonderful hop flavor and aroma without being overly bitter.

Finally got around to brewing and kegging after 2 1/2 months. I didn't use all the hops in the kit (saving the leftovers for later) and it still came out very hoppy, and I'm pleased with the results. It's a good deal with all the hops included and I will definitely buy again.

I have not brewed this yet but for what you get product wise.....grain and hops this is a awesome deal.

While not exact to the original it is delicious in it's own right. This is everything an IPA should be, hoppy but balanced. Pitched Wyeast 1056 to 2L starter and let it work it's magic. I will be making this rascal again.

Even as a rookie this kit was fairly self explanatory and made for a great brew.

Mine doesn't quite taste like the original, but still good. Might purchase again when I'm in the mood to brew something hoppy.

Sculpin is my favorite IPA, when i saw this kit i had to try it out. Made a 15 gallon batch, mashed @ 160 and temp stayed constant. Ended up with a little too much in the kettle so did a 90 minute boil. OG was .068 used yeast starter with WLP001, after two weeks final gravity was .004 for a nice 8.3%. 2 glasses and your done for the night. My neighbor does not like IPA's, yet he always came over and asked for another glass. In south central Texas majority of the folks like lagers like shiner, everyone who tried this beer loved it so much they now willing to give IPA's a try. While this was stronger than normal the taste was awesome, we did a side by side comparison and we couldn't tell them apart. Great Job on this Kit MooreBeer. Defiantly adding this to our rotation.

Being that there was no review on this yet, I felt I had to chime in. This beer is amazing!!!! Just like anything else brewing, these kits are only as good and the steps taken to brew them. I used WLP051 starter and fermented at 65DF for 3 days, then over the next week I allowed the temp to gradually reach 70. Day 10 I added the dryhops, but only left them in for 3 days then cold crashed. One other thing I did was my flameout hops I actually did a 20 minute hop stand. I eventually kegged this beer. Man O' Man...... killer hops and perfect grain bill to go along with it. There is no way I won't have this on tap at all times.
