Let me quality this by saying I've never used this type of filler before. Up to now I've used a single siphon and fill tube. However with 90 gallons to bottle and some spare cash I thought the price was worth a try. Overall the quality is good. I have some design issues though. I don't have a pump so I set my carboys on a counter and the filler on a bench below. The shut off took a bunch of fussing to get it set to fully close at a decent level above the fill tube inlets. The tube gaskets don't seal very well so you have to be quick at swapping bottles to limit waste. A bummer is the height of the tubes when they lose suction. More than 1/2 gallon left in the tank and no drain valve. I added a drain valve and at least I can fill a couple of last bottles that way. I learned the hard way that it drops bottles easily off the ledge so I plan to build it a shelf with a lower catch shelf just in case. It sure fills bottles faster than my old siphon - more than 3 X faster. In the end I'm happy cause it is a faster way to go for a reasonable price. I may not use it for whites again as the fill shutoff sputters and spits aerating the wine. I plan on trying to modify the float to have the tube end submerged. Hopefully that will help. Remember I don't have a pump so it may work a whole lot differently than with 2-3 ft oh head pressure.
