These Italian corks seat very well and are very good quality.

Worked fine. The first order of 25 only received 24. Second order of 100 received 102. Maybe that was a makeup.

My first time using this cork and have not had time for the wine to age so I do not know how they will stand up at this time. However, based on the cost of previous corks that I have used many of them were poor quality and I threw some out and some that I did use leaked as well these seem much better. They inserted easily and the cost is much more favorable.

According to the Cork Quality Council, CQC, colmated corks have the life span of all natural high grade corks, but are substantially cheaper. So you could use them for a complex Cab you intend to age for 20 years or more - which I did. According to the CQC, agglomerated should only last 1 year, and tech 1+1 up to 3 years. According to Wine Folly, the simplest reds, and whites like Chardonnay and Viognier, need 2.5 years MINIMUM aging. So factoring in realistic aging times and overall costs, these easily become the go to corks.
