I've purchased grade 3 natural corks from here since 2015. I've been grateful as a home winemaker to have access to smaller quantities of natural corks, and most of the time they do a good job at a good price. There are four downsides in my mind: 1) I'd estimate about 3% of my bottles have experienced TCA taint over the years. It hurts every time having to pour one of your handmade bottles down the sink. Yes, this is part of the natural-cork game, but some modern suppliers are getting better than this. 2) They are supposedly all "grade 3," but there is a striking difference in evident porosity in the same bag. Some corks are beautifully perfect and others are so holey I can't use them. 3) Some bags, though admittedly not recently, have had corks that were dry and brittle. 4) I've been amused by the packager's inability to count. My bags have seldom had the exact number of corks I've ordered, usually fewer. One bag of 100 a couple years back had fewer than 90.
