Crazy active fermentation with my Hazy IPA. See picture ( I made a video too that really shows the aggressive fermentation off gasing).
Arrived cold with the 2 ice pack shipper. Made a good size starter. Took a 1.076 down to 1.012 in 1 week.
A true top fermenting yeast strain. This yeast makes a thick long lasting krausen. I recently made an NEIPA with excellent results.
Can you give me perfectly fine couple ice packs was perfect. It was melted, but it stayed pretty insulated with the packaging. Fast delivery!
Shipped quick and performed great!!

Second time I have used this yeast. First time was for a British IPA and this time I used it for the Habro Hazy IPA. I forgot how much slower the yeast is at fermenting than the American Ale yeasts I typically use. I took a full two weeks, but the batch did hit the expected final gravity and a bit more, so I am happy. The beer is conditioning now, but initial taste test have me very excited for the end result.
These guys died out a little early though I admit I was not perfect at maintaining the suggested temperature.
I’ve tried a few of the equivalent yeasts to this one and 1318 always ferments consistently, with a clean, fruity flavor. My go to yeast for NEIPA. Just make sure to let it finish!
This yeast used in a starter brought the old ale I brewed to its expected final gravity of 8.5%.
Will purchase again. Arrived in good condition
Perfect for a NEIPA. Seven days or less turnaround.
Great yeast. Really takes off. Thumbs up.
The London III yeast is great for biotransformation with my hazy/juicy IPAs. The bags arrived in May with dates on the bag from March. I ordered two. They arrived partially inflated with melted ice packs, but I pitched them both into my 5 gallons of wort and they worked great. Dry hopped during high krausen (and two more dry hops at the end of fermentation and after fermentation) Attenuated down to an FG of 1.010 as desired. Fruity esters and lots of good hop oils in my packaged beer!
Use for IPA's and NEIPA's. Great yeast. I make a 1200ml starter and I get activity after about 4 hours. 24 hours after pitch it's chugging hard, and then slows a bit but keeps working steady. Definitely a favorite yeast.
These yeast is great for i.p.a.'s.
Great yeast for New England IPAs. It a classic English strain that’s good for most styles where you need that more sweet fruity character.
I just used this with MoreBeer Mild Brown Ale and it’s fantastic. It nearly came out of my 6.5 gallon carboy though so I might the larger Speidel next time, and top crop while I’m at it.
Very good yeast, this does not need a starter, i used it making a starter for a 5.5 gallon batch and it was crazy powerful. In the future will make it with the starter and split it in half and make 2 batches from it.
Super fruity yeast, works so well with hazy IPA. Tends to start a bit vigorous, I have had to switch from airlock to blow off tube with 1318.

I used this yeast brewing the MoreHaze Double New England IPA (KIT 1600) and it came out fantastic. I started with a 2L starter (1.040 SG) on a stir plate and let it spin for 48 hours. The color of the start went from a relatively dark "fresh wort" color to what could be best described as a "light Werthers caramel" colored indicating that there was a HUGE amount of suspended yeast in solution. Cold crashed the starter the night before the brew day, let sit for a few hours out of the fridge while brewing, poured off the clear liquid and pitched. I aerated using a paint mixer and drill that churned air into the wort like nobodies business. Finished brewing around 9PM, by the next morning fermentation had started and looked healthy but by the afternoon it was at ROAR. If my blow off tube had not been connected well it would have blown around like a wack waving inflatable arm flailing tube man.
This is my go to yeast for English Bitters, Special and ESB. I pitch 1 package for a 5 gln brew. I additionally add 2.4 grams of Wyeast nutrient 10 minutes before flameout on the boil.Pitch the yeast at 69 - 70F. Vigorous fermentation the next day. Fermentation is complete in roughly 4 days.
Used for making a New England IPA. Developed desirable "juicy" flavor in abundance. I highly recommend this yeast for that style.
If your are trying to do a hazy NEIPA or a fruity IPA then this is the yeast for you.
Great for NEIPAs. can't recommend enough.
Smooth stone fruit and papaya flavor that meshes really well with citrus neipas. My favorite yeast thus far.

Followed the directions on the package and the ferment started 18 hrs after pitching in a 5 gallon batch of hard cider. Still waiting for it to finish and can't wait to try this one...
Worked perfectly. Delicious IPA
