Lemon peel is the outer skin of the citrus fruit of the same name, which is technically referred to as the exocarp. The peel actually consists of two components the flavedo and the outer white pith of the rind. Because the peel is where the essential oils of the fruit reside, it retains robust flavor, even when dried.

Dual purpose hops popularly used in American styles including Pale Ales and West Coast IPAs
Aroma Profile: Berry, Grapefruit, Pine, Stone Fruit, Tropical
Alpha Acids: 18.0 – 24.0%
Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets
Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets
Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter
Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer!
Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil.
Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material.
Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier.
Typical Hop Statistics:
Alpha Acids: 18.0 – 24.0%
Beta Acids: 6.0 – 9.0%
Total Oil: 1.5 – 4.0%

Chitosan efficiently removes tannins, phenols, and yeast cells from wine and cider. Perfect for clarifying degassed wine or uncarbonated cider, ensuring crystal-clear results. Achieve optimal clarity by pairing Chitosan with Kieselsol for a complete fining process. Chitosan is a positively charged fining agent and useful in removing tannin, phenols, anthocyanins, yeast cells, and bacteria. Add Chitosan to degassed wine or uncarbonated cider to clarify. For best results, always use Chitosan in conjunction with Kieselsol. Directions: Gently stir Chitosan into fully degassed wine or alco-base at the rate of 1 oz per 5-6 gallons Make sure that it is fully degassed. If not, Chitosan may not be effective.
Stir for 20 - 30 seconds to make sure Chitosan is fully desolved and leave liquid to fully clear Clearing can take 1 - 2 days so please allow 12-48 hours to clear fully For best results use in conjunction with Kieselsol or liquid gelatine. Bench trials are recommended. Chitosan (1%) Contains: Water, chitosan (Shellfish derivative), acetic acid Note: Chitosan is not ttb approved

Founded in 1996, Stone Brewing Co. has unleashed a demand for over-the-top beers. Their flagship, Arrogant Bastard Ale, challenged us to pick up a bottle and drink it, kicking off a cult-like following of the beer and the brewery. For their 12th Anniversary, Head Brewer Mitch Steele and the Stone Brew Crew worked with homebrew recipes from Brewhouse Supervisor Jeremy Moynier and Distribution Supervisor Jake Ratzke to create this huge oatmeal stout, but instead of relying on just hops for the bitterness he added some cacao to the boil kettle. The result is simply amazing! We first had this beer at the shop and thought, "We have to have this recipe"! Mitch and Greg must have felt the same way about this beer that we did and handed it over. Stone Brewing Co. is located in Escondido, Ca, so next time you are in Southern California, make it a point to stop by. They have a fantastic restaurant as well, using locally-grown food and a focus on quality. Learn more at www.stonebrew.com Like we said, this beer is huge - with over 21 pounds of grains in it, there is only one question we have for you ... is your mash tun worthy?

Our take on Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale, this beer is smooth and balanced with floral, citrus & grapefruit aromas and flavors
Includes 100% Cascade hops from boil to dry hop
Estimated ABV: 4.9%
Estimated IBUs: 39-43
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
A truly tranquil beer, the Glass Lake Pale Ale is our take on the Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale. We kept the malts simple, using maltodextrin and Crystal 10L, the lightest crystal malt we offer, to add a little body and color to the smooth malt backbone that our ultralight malt extract provides. Cascade is the only hop varietal in this recipe, being used from bittering all the way to the dry hop addition!
The result is a very smooth and balanced beer, complete with the classic floral, citrus & grapefruit aromas and flavors that Cascade hops are so well known for.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Big, bold, and full of flavor. The Pompous Ass Ale is a rendition of one of the most egotistical beers in America, and is not for the light-beer lover. In fact, if you prefer a beer that looks and tastes more like water, we recommend you leave this page immediately. Your feelings might get hurt just reading about it...
Our Arrogant Bastard clone easily has one of the most complex malt profiles of any of our kits. The clean bitterness from Magnum hops allows the rich flavors of Aromatic, Special B, and Caramel Munich malts to control your taste buds. The aromatics of Chinook hops blend perfectly with these malts, creating an intense combination of confusion and satisfaction at the same time. After your first sip, if you're thinking "Whoa. That was interesting, intense, & delicious!" you know you brewed it right!

Easily set and view different pressures downstream from a single CO2 regulator. Serve different beverages at different pressures without the need for expensive regulator manifolds! Built-in pressure gauge for easy reference when adjusting pressure settings Pressure gauge is interchangeable—swap to different pressure ranges that better suit your application Compatible with both liquid and gas 8 mm Duotight inlet/outlet for use with 8 mm OD EVABarrier tubing or 8 mm Rigid Joiners The Duotight In-Line Regulator is an ideal solution if you want to serve different beers at different gas pressures. In a typical multiple line, multiple pressure system you would run a gas line from your main regulator into a secondary regulator where you would set different pressures. While that is ideal, it is a little pricey. This little sweetheart lets you set different pressures at a far lower cost. What we do is set the main regulator at the highest pressure we want in the system - for example a keg of soda that you want to carbonate and serve at 25 psi. Run the gas line into a manifold and then install one of these after the manifold on each line where you want to decrease the pressure, for example lowering to 10psi to serve your British pale ale and 14 psi to serve your summertime lawnmower lager. Works with both gas and liquid. Easily adjust the flow can be adjusted with the yellow adjustment knob. 8 mm Duotight fittings at both inlet and outlet make this unit perfect for use with EVABarrier 8 mm OD tubing (D1717 or D1718). Features an integrated pressure gauge so you can quickly and easily dial in your pressure setting. The analog gauge is removable and can be swapped out with a gauge of a different pressure range or it can be swapped out for the Digital Mini Pressure Gauge. Stepping Down Pressure The ideal regulation scenario occurs when the inline regulator steps down the output pressure to at least 10 PSI less than the inlet pressure. For example, if the inlet pressure is 30 PSI, the regulator effectively manages a range from 0–20 PSI on the output side ensuring optimal performance and stability. Ideal regulation scenario (10 PSI less than inlet pressure) Example of 30 PSI inlet translating to 0–20 PSI output Specifications: Made from food grade acetal Stainless screws Easily disassembles for cleaning 8mm (5/16") Duotight fittings at both ends Interchangeable pressure gauge Gauge reads from 0-60 psi Made with quality EPDM seals Wall mountable WARNING: Do not exceed gauge pressure. Exceeding the pressure range will damage the gauge. Kegland Part number: KL15035
Automated Filling System: Fill any beverage into any bottle, can, jar, or glass automatically with this internet-connected, RAPT-enabled Cannular Can and Bottle Filler, offering a more sanitary and user-friendly experience than competitors.
Integrated Pinch Valve and Regulator: The pinch valve allows easy removal of the beer line for cleaning, while the integrated regulator eliminates the need for an external regulator, preventing damage from high-pressure gas sources.
OLED Digital Display and WiFi Connectivity: The OLED display simplifies calibration and allows real-time adjustments, while WiFi connectivity to the RAPT.io portal logs usage data and enables remote management of settings and profiles.
Versatile and Multi-Purpose: With adjustable stainless steel tubes and a height range suitable for bottles up to 11.8" and cans up to 10.6", this filler can handle still or carbonated beverages, making it ideal for various containers including wine bottles, beer cans, and more.
Low Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Pickup: The filler effectively purges oxygen from the container, ensuring substantially lower dissolved oxygen levels, which enhances the quality and longevity of your beverage.
Fill any beverage into any bottle, can, jar, or glass automatically with this internet-connected, RAPT-enabled, Cannular Can and Bottle Filler. Featuring two adjustable stainless steel tubes, the Cannular Filler will use one to purge oxygen out of the vessel and then use the second one to fill the vessel to a precise level based on an internal pressure sensor.
OLED Digital Display
The OLED display makes calibration super easy. It also enables you to keep track of filling speed, number of cycles/fills, purge time, fill height, and also enables you to make on-the-fly adjustments to your filling requirements so you can conveniently tweak the settings while filling.
Integrated Ball Lock Connectors
The integrated ball lock connectors allow you to quickly attach your beer and gas ball lock disconnects. We recommend the use of the Duotight Ball Lock Quick Disconnects in Gas and Liquid to connect to these inputs and outputs.
Integrated Pinch Valve
The integrated pinch valve is one of the things that makes this unit far superior to other filling machines. The pinch valve enables you to easily remove the beer line for cleaning so the stainless tube, silicone hose, and yellow ball lock cap removes completely and can be put into the dishwasher or cleaned in the sink. The pinch valve is mechanically simple and therefore reliable. It is not subject to small particles like hops getting stuck in the device and eliminates the need for pre-filtration. It simply pinches down on the silicone tube to shut off the flow. This design also enables laminar flow that reduces foaming. The pinch valve improves reliability, makes it easier to operate, and a piece of cake to clean.
Integrated Regulator
Other filling machines require an external regulator that may need to drop the pressure lower than your normal keg dispensing pressure. Unlike these other fillers, this filler has an integrated regulator which saves time and setup costs. This integrated regulator means you will not damage your machine by accidentally connecting it to a high-pressure gas source. You can hook up your gas line without the need for another external regulator or to fool around with your gas supply at all. Just set the integrated regulator once during setup and forget about it.
Multi-Purpose
The long stainless tubes and adjustable height make this device useful for pretty much any bottles up to 11.8" (30cm) high or cans up to 10.6" (27cm) high. It can also be used for still or carbonated beverages, so this device is useful for wine bottles, beer cans, champagne, crown seal bottles, and pretty much any other bottle/can/vessel that has a neck opening greater than 0.59" (15mm). It can also be used for filling glasses, jars, or other vessels.
Fill Profiles
Some other machines require a full calibration to change from one vessel type to another. This machine allows you to pre-save fill profiles depending on what you are doing. Save a filling profile for your 12 oz cans and then save a different filling profile for your 750mL wine bottles. Use our pre-saved presets or alternatively make your own fill profiles with different purge times and fill height. These are also synced with the RAPT.io portal so you can save profiles and share them with friends or deploy them to several other devices.
RAPT.io Connected (via WiFi)
As well as all the features above, this filler connects to your WiFi and keeps track of your Cans Per Minute (CPM), fill speed, and even temperature (if you purchase the external Instant Read Temperature Probe separately). It will log all usage information so you can keep track of how your machine is running or even keep track of your staff to make sure they are cycling the machine at an acceptable rate. The connectivity to the RAPT.io portal will enable you to more easily change settings, update profiles, and keep track of your fill days so you can historically keep track of how your fill day went and which day you processed each batch.
Low DO Pickup
The quality and longevity of your beverage are often defined by how well you keep oxygen off your product. This filler purges the oxygen out of the can and will enable you to get substantially lower dissolved oxygen.
Wall Mounted Design
This type of can and bottle filler has primarily been designed for wall-mounting configuration. This allows you to bring a can or bottle up to the filler from the underside of the unit. To wall mount this unit you can download and print this template.

Add to your grain bill for improved body, stable haze formation, and superior foam retention
The malt's low color ensures it can be incorporated into even the palest brews without affecting the final hue
Use as up to 10% of your grain bill
Rahr Dextrin Malt is a versatile ingredient designed to significantly enhance various beer characteristics. Its lower modification and higher protein content contribute to improved body, stable haze formation, and superior foam retention, making it a valuable addition for a wide range of beer styles. The malt's low color ensures it can be incorporated into even the palest brews without affecting the final hue.
Brewers aiming for a stable haze in their hazy IPAs can utilize Rahr Dextrin Malt at inclusion rates up to 10% without impacting beer color. Beyond haze, its addition to the mashbill boosts foam stability, viscosity, and overall body. For those who typically use chit malt for head retention and mouthfeel, Rahr Dextrin Malt offers a domestic alternative with comparable benefits. Unlike standard low-end bottle fillers, the Vintage Shop's springless model uses a plastic valve instead of a spring to seal. The springs are not made from a food grade quality metal. Fillers will work with 12 or 22oz bottles. Use with 1/2" tubing. Larger 1/2" diameter and increased flow is good for wine applications.

Control your fermentation temperatures with Cool Brewing's simple, yet innovative, insulated fermentation bag. This is the 2nd generation Cool Brew bag, which has made cold fermentations even easier! Fermenting your homebrew at the right temperature is one of the critical factors in making good beer. Let the temperature get too warm, and your beer will taste 'rough' as the soft malt and vibrant hop flavors dissapear! Typically an advanced homebrewer would want to get a spare refrigerator or even a MoreBeer! Cooled Conical to control fermentation temperatures, both those options either take up a lot of space or can cost a fair amount of money. The Cool Brewing Bag allows the apartment brewer, those who have space constraints, or the brewer on a budget a great option to control fermentation temperature and make great beer. Cool Brewing's Fermentation Cooler is designed specifically to accommodate standard 6.5, 6 or 5 gallon fermenter. You freeze a 2 liter soda bottle with water, or similar, and place in the fermentation bag with your fermenting carboy. Also works great with the Ss BrewTech Brew Buckets! The typical desired ale fermentation range is on average around 62-72° F. For a typical 5 gallon batch (1) frozen 2-liter bottle should lower wort temperature around 5 degrees, while using (2) 2-liter bottles will lower wort temperature around 11 degrees for 24-36 hours. Of course your exact results might vary but you can adjust the amount of ice you use as you go. The manufacturer has found they can cool the wort temperature up to around a 30-35° drop from ambient room temperature. On the flipside, add a Fermwrap and temperature controller to the setup, and you've got a heated fermentation temperature accurate to within 1° F! The Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler is sealed, insulated and 100% waterproof so it will efficiently and neatly keep your temperatures in check. When you’re done, the Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler easily folds up for storage until the next brew day! Cool Brew Features: Up to twice as efficient and cleaner then homemade swamp coolers
Much less expensive than custom kegorator or keezer set up's that cost $100's of dollars.
Cool Brewing Cooler will work with multiple sized fermenters.
100% waterproof so will not leave condensation.
It folds up for easy storage when not in use or travel.
Will work great in condos and warm climates where you need a swamp cooler even for Ale’s!
Contains the mess of any fermentation blowouts
Inner dimensions: 20.5"D x 25.5"H
Savvy homebrewers love quick disconnects on their gas lines! They give you the ability to quickly move hoses from one configuration to another with ease! These quick disconnects feature 1/4" barbed fittings which can be used with 3/16", 1/4" or 5/16" line. The quick disconnect functionality is activated by a shrouded thumb latch. The temperature range is -40F to 180F. They can handle a vacuum to 120 psi - so you don’t need to worry about them leaking gas. The internal valve spring is 316 type stainless steel and the o-ring is food grade Buna-N. In short, these QDs are durable, user friendly and versatile. A no-brainer! For the male side, see our H550A, or buy both sides together as a set.

Use this insulating jacket to regulate the fermentation temperature in your 30L FermZilla All Rounder. The jacket alone will help keep your fermenter warm in the colder months, or you can add a FermWrap heater if the heat fermentation isn't enough to maintain temp. Conversely, you can freeze bottles of water and put them inside the jacket to keep the temperature from getting too hot.
If you're feeling extra fancy, use frozen water bottles and a FermWrap plugged into a temperature controller. The frozen water bottles will provide constant cooling, and if the controller detects that the temperature has dropped too far, it will kick on the FermWrap to heat your fermenter back up to your target temp.
The jacket has the added benefit of protecting your fermenting beer from harmful UV light.
Features a single sided zipper and draw string bottom.
Please Note: The jacket has been resized to better fit the Easy-Grip model All-Rounder. It is roughly 4.75" shorter than the previous jacket, so if you're using it with an older model FermZilla with the metal stand, there will be a gap between the bottom of the jacket and the floor.
Kegland Part number: KL50333
The ideal yeast for producing a very neutral, clean base for hard seltzers, canned cocktails, further distillation, etc.
Works with malt or sugar fermentations
Includes nutrients and pH buffers to keep fermentation humming to finish
Able to handle high levels of ethanol and osmotic pressure
Ferments clean up to 80°F
Our motto is to Empower Your Creative Vision. Origin is a unique style of yeast used to create a neutral alcoholic base that acts as the Origin upon which you layer other flavors. Perfect for Hard Seltzers, Canned Cocktails, and whatever else you can dream up. Also great for neutral washes designed for distillation and tough to ferment honey-based mead fermentations.
Works on both sugar, honey, and malt-based fermentations. The secret sauce is a very neutral, high alcohol tolerant yeast combined with nutrients and pH buffers. The non-urea-based nutrients help the yeast in simple sugar mediums naturally low in nutrients. pH buffers ensure a high enough pH to allow the yeast to run to completion in even the toughest of situations. The yeast strain used in Origin is a very low producer of H2S and fruity esters resulting in a clean final product. Origin stays clean at higher fermentation temperatures up to 80°F.
Origin could technically be called a Turbo Yeast being packed with nutrients. However, we don't like that association as many turbo Yeasts are not selected and assembled for quality and flavor but rather price and speed. Turbo Yeasts also do not include pH buffers.
Origin will work with all commonly used sugars, including sucrose, dextrose, and liquid invert sugar. When fermenting wort from malted barley, use our Brutzyme Glucoamylase Enzyme to break down α-1,4 and α-1,6 glycosidic linkages of starch, dextrins, and oligosaccharides for a drier, more fully attenuated final product. Pilot batches should always be performed to find the optimum final product for your further vision.
Directions:
Add 10 to 20 g per gal (2.5 to 5 g per liter) directly into your fermentation with no hydration required. Ferment between 65 to 80°F (18-27°C). We recommend starting with a dosage of 15 g per gal (4 g per liter) and adjusting as desired in future batches.
Brewers make the tea but SCOBY makes the booch! Kombucha SCOBY is a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast that is used for fermenting sweet tea into kombucha. Fermentaholics' Classic SCOBY culture comes with a 4" pellicle and 12 fl oz of liquid starter tea. Perfect for starting a 1-gallon batch of homemade kombucha.
With proper care and storage, you can reuse your culture for multiple batches. For short term storage, a clean, food grade container placed somewhere out of direct sunlight and left undisturbed is suggested. If you will not be using your SCOBY for an extended period of time, place it in a clean, food grade container in the refrigerator for up to 3 months. Feeding (adding new tea) as needed to keep the SCOBY from drying out.
Fits PET Carboys. A breathable Silicone stopper that acts as both a stopper and an airlock. Unique design allows CO2 pressure to escape but keeps Oxygen and airborne contamination out. Quickly became our stopper of choice for wine. Used by numerous commercial wineries. Also has great application for beer ferments: Will create a vacuum if fermenting wort cools (as opposed to pulling water in from your traditional airlock.) Air tight seal is great for extended fermented lager when CO2 production is still present but very slight.
Kieselsol removes proteins and metallic compounds for clear, polished wine and cider. Achieve superior clarity by using Kieselsol alongside Chitosan for optimal results. Simply add to degassed wine or uncarbonated cider for a crystal-clear finish. Kieselsol is a negatively charged fining agent useful in removing proteins and some metallic compounds. Add Kieselsol to degassed wine or uncarbonated cider to clarify. For best results, always use Kieselsol in conjunction with Chitosan. Directions: Gently stir Kieselsol into fully degassed wine or alco-base at the rate of 1/4 oz per 5-6 gallons Make sure that it is fully degassed. If not, Kieselsol may not clear the wine.
Stir for 20 - 30 seconds to make sure Kieselsol is fully dissolved and leave liquid to fully clear Clearing can take 1 - 2 days, so please allow 12-48 hours to clear fully For best results, use in conjunction with Chitosan or liquid gelatin. Bench trials are recommended. Kieselsol (30%) Storage: Refrigeration is not required. Do not freeze. Contains: Water, 30% Silica solution

Jim was looking for a dark, smooth, creamy mouth feel stout just like an Australian stout he had tasted years ago. Over the years, Jim found a clone that was close but needed some small changes. After many trials and test batches, he came up with this recipe that is very drinkable when it is fresh. It will get smoother with a couple months of aging and creaminess added by the lactose makes this a very good winter warming stout. Jim hopes you enjoy this beer as much as he has. Jim recommends WLP004 Irish ale yeast.

This is our normal Ugly Fish IPA that you know and love but with grapefruit flavoring included. Add the flavoring just prior to bottling or kegging and you'll have a great fruity IPA to enjoy.
Contrary to its name, Ugly Fish IPA is actually one of the most beautiful beers we have to offer! Designed as a clone of the highly sought-after Ballast Point Sculpin® IPA, the Ugly Fish IPA is a hop masterpiece. This beer starts with a very clean bitterness from Warrior® hops, and finishes with a beautiful blend of Cascade, Simcoe®, and Chinook late additions. With almost 10 ounces of hops, the Ugly Fish IPA is definitely a hop forward beer, but does have a solid malt profile that stands up to those hops and helps to keep it reasonably balanced.
If you're looking to treat your taste buds to a beer that we think has been hopped perfectly, we highly recommend the Ugly Fish IPA!

The Zahm SS-60 Volume Meter was developed to determine average CO² levels of gas in tank stored beverages. Its improved design over the older Zahm-Hartung Volume Meter (Series 2000) greatly improves accuracy and time required to run a test. A precise piston release mechanism eliminates bleeding off of the sample and the potential for human error. Samples undergo repeatable, precise volumetric expansion test after test for more accurate measurements. The lightweight design reduces operator fatigue while the stainless steel construction increases strength and resists corrosion. The thermometer may also be replaced in the field without the need to return it to the factory for replacement. The parts list and line drawing should be used when ordering replacement parts or operating the instrument.

Monitor fermentation activity in a stainless steel conical
Check flow and liquid clarity during transfers
Harvest yeast and store with end caps
Keep an eye on the flow during transfer or monitor yeast activity during fermentation with this 1.5" tri-clamp sight glass. Place the sight glass in-line when you transfer wort from kettle to fermenter to help you oversee how your in-line oxygenator is flowing. One of the few disadvantages of a stainless steel conical is that you can't watch the yeast as they go to work. With a sight glass you'll be able to observe how your yeast are performing throughout the fermentation process. This also makes for a great way to harvest yeast. Simply attach it to your dump valve and close off the other end with a T.C. end cap, collect the yeast and remove the sight glass, cap it at the other end and store it for your next batch.
